The lyrics and minimal instrumentation throughout, make it one of her most vulnerable tracks. She makes one thing known: she is not going to be anything but herself.

Based off the single’s artwork, it looks like a new EP will be coming soon. ‘Raw’ is different sounding than her previous projects, so the new EP is looking like it will be open to new possibilities.
